Locating your own housing:
Tuition Cost: $5,998.00 - 2 payments of $2,999.00 (not including the optional cost of an international missions trip: $2,000 to $3,500)
Details: This option allows you to locate your own housing for the year, while keeping your tuition costs at a minimum. Many who choose this option choose to live at with family if they have family in Colorado Springs, or have friends who are able to host them for the year.
Living Requirements: none other than what is agreed upon by you and the family that hosts you.
Tuition with housing included: $9,998.00 - 2 payments of 4,999.00 (not including the optional cost of an international missions trip: $2,000 to $3,500)
Details: When you choose this option, DLA staff will locate and arrange for students to live in local apartments. Students are not responsible to make monthly payments, sign contracts, utilities, or locate roommates. It is important to note that the apartment rates are lower than average costs for DLA students because of the special rates we have acquired. DLA staff makes all of these arrangements for you! Please note in choosing this option you will be responsible to provide your own: furniture and kitchen supplies, as well as food throughout the year.
Living Requirements: Students will be rooming with another DLA student(s) in the apartment. Students will be required to form their own house rules with approval from the Student Housing Coordinator, Kassandra Anderson. There will be some guidelines all students will need to follow such as cleanliness and respect of others.
It is our desire that your housing this year is a "home away from home" - a home that provides safety, comfort, and support. Ultimately we want it to be life-giving to you. Please talk with your family and cover this decision in prayer. The Student Housing Coordinator, Kassandra Anderson, is happy to talk with anyone through this decision. Please contact her at Kanderson@newlifechurch.org or 719.234.7733.
